Financial & Insurance Options
Understand your dental care costs with transparent financial and insurance options. We accept major plans, offer flexible payments, and provide clear estimates.
Insurance We Accept and How We File Claims
We accept most traditional dental insurance plans, and we are in-network with several major providers. Our office participates with Aetna, Cigna, and Delta Dental as preferred networks. If you carry a PPO plan, we are prepared to work with it. To make visits easier, we file insurance claims on behalf of our patients for all providers, including Medicare where applicable.
Verifying your coverage
Each insurance plan is different, so we encourage you to call your insurance company and our office before your appointment to confirm benefits. Our team will help check coverage for planned procedures and explain what portion your insurance is likely to pay and what your responsibility will be. Estimates are based on the information provided by your insurer, and final costs can vary depending on the services performed.
Payment Methods and Third-Party Financing
We accept multiple forms of payment to make care as convenient as possible. You can pay with cash, checks, or major credit cards. For treatments that require a larger investment, we offer third-party financing through CareCredit. CareCredit can turn a single, unexpected expense into a manageable monthly plan, and our staff will gladly help you explore those options during your consult.
Simple, transparent billing
Before major procedures, we provide a written estimate that outlines your out-of-pocket cost after insurance. We review that estimate with you, explain payment options, and answer questions so there are no surprises. If your financial situation requires special planning, we will work with you to find a path forward that balances clinical needs and affordability.
Estimates, Treatment Plans, and Financial Policy
Every treatment begins with a careful evaluation and a personalized plan. When a treatment is recommended, we provide a clear estimate that lists the recommended services, expected insurance contribution, and your portion. For new patients, we also ask that the Financial Policy form be reviewed and signed so everyone understands scheduling expectations, payment timing, and insurance filing procedures.
What to expect for major procedures
For restorative care like crowns, implants, or multi-step treatments, we break the cost down by visit and phase. That helps you see the timing of payments and the clinical milestones. If additional procedures are needed during treatment, we update the estimate and explain why the change is necessary.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and Emergency Care
Your scheduled appointment time is set aside exclusively for you. Because of this, we ask patients to provide at least 48 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule. This policy helps us offer timely care to all of our guests. For urgent dental problems, we provide same-day emergency appointments when possible, and our team will explain any financial considerations for emergency treatment at the time of care.
How We Help You Maximize Insurance Benefits
Insurance can be complicated, and our front office team makes it easier. We submit claims electronically to speed processing and follow up as needed to help resolve claim-related questions. If a recommended service is not covered, we will discuss alternative options that may still meet your clinical needs while fitting your budget. We believe in shared decision-making, so you always know the clinical reasons for a recommendation and the financial choices available.
Special Considerations for Seniors, Families, and New Patients
We welcome patients at all stages of life and tailor financial conversations to your circumstances. For seniors, we are comfortable working with Medicare-related billing where applicable, and we can discuss treatment sequencing to align with coverage. For families, we explain pediatric preventive care and how routine visits can reduce long-term costs by preventing the need for more extensive treatment.
Practical Tips for a Smooth Financial Experience
Call our office with your insurance card handy so we can verify your benefits before your visit. Bring any necessary forms from your employer or insurer, and ask about CareCredit if you prefer installment payments. If a treatment plan is being considered, schedule a consultation to review a written estimate together. Clear communication helps us keep your care comfortable, predictable, and consistent with your financial goals.
Questions and Support
If you have questions about coverage, claims, or payment options, our front desk team is ready to help. We take time to listen, explain, and find solutions that work for you. Our goal is to remove confusion so you can focus on your oral health and overall well-being.
